Dibrugarh-Tinsukia Bypass Inaugurated By CM

The Chief Minister of Assam, Shri Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated the Dibrugarh-Tinsukia bypass of NH 37 from Bogibeel to Bakul, on Wednesday, dated 18th November, 2020 at an event held at Japisajia in Dibrugarh district. The newly erected bypass is 15.446 km long, which will connect Lepetkata and Mohanbari in Dibrugarh, Assam. This will improve the connectivity in the area, as well as will help to dwindle the traffic in the town. The project has been fabricated under SARDP-NE, and the construction has been completed at a cost of ₹96.8 4 crores. Moreover, as a part of this project, CM also inaugurated a railway bridge on the stipulated stretch.
