The Health and Family Welfare Department of the Government of Assam on Thursday, issued two directives for persons travelling out of the state in relation to the phased reopening of unlock 4.0.
In compliance to the Unlock 4 Guidelines, a person who will be out of station for less than 96 hours , will not be quarantined for 10 days. Rather, the individual have to undergo the Rapid Antigen Test and incase if the result turns out be positive, they will have to follow prior Covid protocols. On the other hand, if the result comes out to be negative, the individual’s swab sample would be taken for RT-PCR. Until the result, they have to remain under isolation.
Also, an amount of Rs 5000 will be provided towards the cremation of the succumbed Covid patients, if the family is financially unstable, which will be funded by the NHM, Assam.
